The constant and helpless attempts to save the world are based on the basic idea that you knew to start something right with the world. Perhaps everyone should first be content to save oneself before turning to projects with important impact. Perhaps the destruction of the world is the way to reach perfection? Perhaps change is only asymptotically at the limit of self-destruction? Maybe not. Who knows for sure? And don’t forget: All things must pass.
